Nutrition is the science that interprets the interaction of nutrients and other substances in food in relation to maintenance, growth, reproduction, health, and disease of an organism. Malnutrition refers to insufficient, excessive, or imbalanced consumption of nutrients. Tropical Health Nutrition mainly focuses on the health of populations living in tropical & subtropical regions like Africa, North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, South-east Asia. In tropical countries, the diseases of malnutrition are most often associated with nutritional imbalances or excessive consumption.
