Infection of brain, spinal cord and its surrounding structure can be infected by the spectrum of germs. Bacteria, viruses are the most common organisms that infect the central nervous system.Encephalitis is the inflammation of brain tissue ,Viral infection are the are the most common cause of the condition.Encephalitis can cause flu symptoms ,such as fever or severe head ache.It can also cause thinking,seizures,or problems with sense or movement.It is of two types -primary or secondary,Primary encephalitis is when a virus directly infects the brain and spinal cord,Secondary encephalitis is when an infection that starts else where travels to brain.
