Hormones are the chemical substances that are produced by endocrine glands in one part of the body and are transferred to different parts of the body through blood and show their effects at particular part of the body. These hormones are to be released in required quantity, if there is change in the quantity of hormones then they will show adverse effects. The adverse effects of hormones lead to fatigue, acne, arthritis, abnormal heartbeat etc. The criteria for publishing a case report should include unexpected occurring of hormonal imbalances, any unexpected association between disease and its symptoms, diagnosis of new defects and their treatment methodologies, if there are any new changes during disease processing. These defects caused due to hormones may be treated by hormone replacement therapy. All the new and interesting cases of hormones are published as case reports in the related journals. These case reports are published only after the peer review process and a final decision from the editor who is assigned to handle the paper.
