One of the most famous universities in the world The University of Burgundy was founded by King Louis XV of France a French monarchy with Dijo Faculty of law in 1722. Later Emperor Napoleon I initiated the faculties of Science, Arts and Medicine. The university is spread across Burgundy. The university initially taught the courses in French but now with the growing number of international students; they are taught in English. Out of the 10 faculties, there are 4 engineering schools, Undergraduate course are been provided by 3 institutes of technologies, here are 2 institutes providing professional post-graduate programs.
