The resulting pH gradient shows a steep increase from 2.8 to 10 where the linear gradient seems to be stretched out from 10-11. Two flat regions shown by the area at low pH (~2.5) represents the pH of anodic stabilizing medium and the high pH region (~11) represents the pH of cathodic stabilizing medium.
