In each occasion, a metabolic bone marker was dependent variable. The Independent
variables were Body mass index and group allocation. The results show
that the difference in metabolic bone markers between the diabetic and the control
group was no longer significant after adjustment for body mass index, except for
osteocalcin* (p=0.0175) |
