After 18 days of incubation 100 μl of each sample were removed and added in triplicates to 96 well flat bottom plates and the incubation continued in the presence of 1μCi/well of 3H thymidine for another 16-18 hours. IFN-γ pre-treated HEp2 cell transfectants were washed three times before they were added to CD8+ T cells. The p value for the differences between the co-cultures of IL-2 treated CD8+ T cells with control HEp2 cells vs. IκB(S32AS36A) transfected HEp2 cells were less than 0.05. ND (not done)
