Amsterdam Criteria I:
At least 3 relatives with CRC and meeting the following criteria:
-    1 affected individual should be familiar of 1st degree of the other 2.
-    At least 2 successive generations must be affected
-    At least 1 case of CRC diagnosed before the age 50
-    Familial adenomatous polyposis has been excluded
Amsterdam Criteria II:
At least 3 relatives with CRC, endometrial, small bowel, ureter or renal pelvis cancer and meeting following criteria:
-    1 affected individual should be familiar of 1st degree of the other 2.
-     At least 2 successive generations must be affected
-    At least 1 case of CRC diagnosed before the age 50
-    Familial adenomatous polyposis has been excluded
Bethesda Guidelines:
At least 1 of the following criteria required:
-    CRC diagnosed before the age 50
-    Synchronic or metachronic presence of CRC and/or another neoplasm associated to Lynch syndrome, independently of the age of diagnosis
-    CRC diagnosed before the age 60 and with histology showing microsatellites instability
-    CRC diagnosed in a patient with > 1 first degree relative with a tumour associated to Lynch syndrome, with at least 1 tumour diagnosed before the age 50
-    CRC diagnosed in a patient and > 2 relatives of 1st or 2nd degree with tumours associated to Lynch syndrome, independently of the age of diagnosis
