Figure 6: Effect of substrate concentration on protease activity. (A) leaf, (B) bark and (C) root extracts. The reaction mixture contained 12 μl, 19 μl and 22 μl protease for leaf, bark and root respectively with different amount of substrate (BSA). Phosphate buffer (pH 7, 0.1M) was added to make final vme 200 μl. The reaction mixture was incubated at room temperature for 30 min and direct method was performed. |
