Special Issue: Motor Recovery Research

Motor recovery research is the study of patient recovery from stroke. It is a multidisciplinary field of knowledge related to the study and function of nerve organization. It involves the interaction between the central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system and helps to coordinate the information processing, mechanics, physics, and cognition. Motor recovery may vary depending on the person’s ability for recovery & stroke complications. It is discovered from the scientific researches that central nervous system possesses the ability for recovery of some functions & hence is adaptive. They also have found that practicing the regained skills leads to a complete recovery & a healthier life. The goal of a Motor recovery research program is to help you recall various skills & abilities that were lost due to the brain stroke. Motor recovery can help you fight the consequences of brain stroke & improve quality of your life. Currently International Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is focusing on a Special issue entitled “Special Issue on Motor Recovery Research”. International Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is a bi-monthly, peer reviewed, open access publication. It is a scientific, scholar journal for practitioners and rehabilitation researches in various medical and surgical specialties and rehabilitation disciplines.

As a part of this special issue researchers and scholars are invited to submit manuscripts on all aspect of motor recovery research but not limited to the topics such as impairment and recovery mechanisms after brain injury such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, gait, and brachial plexus injury, etc.

The Journal follows a stringent double blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. We welcome manuscripts for the special issue till “August 25th, 2017”. The submitted manuscripts would be published by “October 15th, 2017. As the submission for the special issue would be limited in number & would be processed on a First come First Serve basis.
