(A) MTT Assay was employed to check cell viability in MCF-7 cell line on treatment with NS and analogs AN1, AN2 andAN3 at 20μΜ concentration for 48 hours. The values and error bars represent average and standard deviations of the independent set of experiments. Student T test was performed to find out significant difference between control and treated conditions and comparisons were considered significantly different at P ≤ 0.05 (*). (B) MCF-7 cells were incubated 48 hours with NS and analogs AN1, AN2 and AN3 and the rate of apoptosis was measured by flow cytometry using Annexin-V/PI. The analysis was performed with the BD FACSDiva software. The data are Results are shown as mean fold change ± SEM (n=3) and change was considered significant at P ≤ 0.05 (*) and P ≤ 0.01 (**).
