The European Society of Pharmacogenomics and Theranostics (ESPT), created three years ago, is now in the development phase. A third general assembly in Lisbon (Portugal), has confirmed our general organization with an active board and a main office in Nancy (France). The ESPT is a society that brings together people interested in all aspects of pharmacogenetics, pharmacogenomics and all approaches focused on improving the delivery of medicines to the right patient at the right dose and at the right time. ESPT sets out to provide its members with valuable services to facilitate networking and to encourage teamwork that will advance this field, focusing in particular on strategies to translate basic academic research into tangible clinical benefit. ESPT has decided, after his last board meeting in Rome, to work more closely with the other European and International organizations. In this part, it will put documents that we endorse and documents to be discussed.
