Incubation of 1% (v/v) SRBCs with different volumes of serum from Osteolaemus tetraspis Or Mecistops cataphractus for 30 min resulted in a volume-dependent hemolysis, as measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The results are expressed as % of maximum hemolysis, relative to a positive control, and represent the means ± standard deviations, and represent the results of four independent determinations.
