 Seventy percent  male patients suffered no pain as compared to 43.3%female patients (p<0.05).  Only 30% male patients had suffered pain as compared to 56%female patients.  Perineal pruritus incidence was similar in both groups (16.7% vs 23.3%)  although it was individually significant (Table 2). |
