Furthermore, there were several up- and down-regulated proteins found in HaCaTs including the majorly focused protein 14-3-3σ, which were induced by mesenchyme-derived soluble factors. It was concluded that 14-3-3σ increased the proliferation by activating the cyclins and on the other hand it leads via Rho A and Rac1 to a cytoskeletal rearrangement.
