Figure 4: Fluorescence microscopy of prostate cancer DU145 cells. DU145 cells were seeded into 6-well plate and incubated overnight, treated with 0, 20, 30 and 40 μM of altholactone for 24h. After 12h incubation, cells were observed by fluorescence microscopy after staining with calcein acetoxymethyl ester and propidium iodide and revealed the morphological change in DU145 cells treated with altholactone compared to the control (A). At 24h, cells were altered by apoptotic effect induced by altholactone in a dose-dependent manner (B). Morphological observation change in DU145 cells in response to altholactone.
