Adipose tissue is composed of some cells including adipocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, macrophages and stem cells. Adipocyte is the main cell of adipose tissue that is mainly composed of a nucleus and a large lipid droplet surrounded by a cytoplasmic membrane. The structure of a lipid droplet is similar to lipoproteins.
