1/2 lb sugar |
Put in a saucepan crushed ginger, peppercorn, sugar and water |
1 small size root ginger |
Boil over medium heat while stirring continuously till sugar dissolves to form syrup |
1 peppercorn |
In a separate saucepan, boil aleefu leaves in 1 pint of water for 5 minutes |
1 pint of water |
Add syrup to cooled leaf extract and stir to mix |
Aleefu leaves |
Chill and serve |
