The genotype “GG/TT” was the reference group, so its plot represents the odds of breast cancer. It is important to make the plot in some “logical” order, since it facilitates its interpretation. In this case, the homozygous wild, heterozygous and homozygous variant genotypes for T309G SNP are shown (from left to right) for each R72P genotype (also following the same order). Based on line that passes through y=1.0, it is easy to notice that the 95% confidence intervals of almost all genotype combinations were above the null (while three poorly incorporated the nullity). The dashed line passes through the mean of the odds ratio values, and facilitates to notice the similarity between the effect estimates.
