Figure 4: Electroclinical seizure onset, triggered by direct cortical stimulation. Clonic ictal movements of the contralateral hand translate in significant muscle artifact seen in the hand channel (sets 314 through 317). Earlier (sets 299 through 307), definite triggered mMEPs were obtained at the same stimulus intensity. The ECoG recording shows the electrical ictal onset at contacts 7 and 6 of the strip, consisting of rhythmic run of 12 Hz sharp activity. Muscle recording sensitivity is 300 uV/div; timebase 10 msec/div; ECoG recording has a sensitivity of 50 uV/mm and timebase is 30 mm/sec. |
