Figure 3: A) Serum creatinine levels (μmol/mL), and amount of urine produced by 5 healthy volunteers during 5 consecutive days of LPS administrations to induce a LPS tolerant state. Creatinine levels were measured before each LPS administration, and urine samples were collected 24 hrs on the first day and 6 hrs after the following LPS administrations. The response of LPS administration with regard to maximum serum creatinine levels were tested for significance, by use of a one-way ANOVA.
