Table 3 demonstrates the R squared obtained in the last run of Partial Least Square (PLS) procedure performed for sperm variables in the prediction of conception rate.
Note that 93% of the conception rate is already explained by two factors, but only 51% of the predictor variation is explained. A model using only the first two factors can be
useful for prediction purposes; however, we decided to include 4 factors in order to increase the explanation of the predictor. |
