The total number of 31 Wistar rats has been divided into six different experimental
groups. Controls were run without (group 1) and with nimodipine (group 2). Group
3 (no nimodipine) and group 4 (with nimodipine) underwent a 2 h dummy implantation
of the electrode carrier. EIS was being performed without (group 5) and in
combination with nimodipine (group 6). Within the two EIS groups, three animals
were used for each setup of stimulation (1.6, 50, 400 Hz). |
