Alzheimers Disease also called as memory loss is a common form of dementia and affects memory, cognitive functions and other intellectual functions. Although memory loss occurs eith aging, Alzheimers Disease is different condition and can be defined as degenerative brain disorder characterized by a progressive loss of memory and other detrimental cognitive changes as well as lowered life expectancy. Addiction towards alsohol can produce Alzheimers Disease like symptoms but the effect is not yet proved and is still under investigation.
