Aims and Scope

Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology (JCEPT) is a broad-based journal found on two key tenets: To publish the most exciting researches with respect to the subjects of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology. Secondly, to provide a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes.

The Journal publishes significant research while simultaneously introducing recent technical progress made in this area across the globe. Submitted research papers must be of industrial significance with a special focus on chemical engineering. The editors will give preference to papers with clearly stated, practical scope and applicability in the areas of chemical engineering, and new theoretical concepts supported by innovative experimental details. The Journal also regularly publishes featured reviews on emerging and industrially important subjects of chemical engineering.

The journal covers all basic areas in chemical engineering including Chemical Engineering, Process technology, Interfacial , Thermodynamics, Membrane separation, Nano fibers, Rheology, Nanomaterial’s, Microfluidics, Microelectronic , Electrochemical, Polymer science ,Process modeling, Statistical Mechanics, Nano fabrication, Chemical Process, catalysis, environmental engineering, energy, biotechnology, polymers, materials, process systems, transport, industrial chemistry, separations, and thermodynamics.

Chemical Engineering & Process Technology is ardent to Open Access. We strongly believe that removing barriers to research published online will greatly aid to the progress in OMICS scientific and technical disciplines.

All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by CrossRef. Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology will keep upto date with latest advances in the field and papers published in Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology will reach the readers directly by email for free of cost.

Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology accepts online letters to the editors, brief comments that contributes to the previously published articles.

Definition of Open Access Publication

An Open Access Publication is one that meets the following two conditions:
  • The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.

  • A complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in a suitable standard electronic format is deposited immediately upon initial publication in at least one online repository that is supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other well-established organization that seeks to enable Open Access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving (for the biomedical sciences, PubMed Central is such a repository).
» As a member of Publisher International linking Association, PILA, Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology (of OMICS Publishing Group) follows the Creative Commons Attribution License and Scholars Open Access publishing policies.

Community standards, rather than copyright law, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now.
