Figure 2: An overview of the development of immunocontraception / vaccine construct based on a combinatorial approach of proteomics, bioinformatics and metabolomics studies in the bacteriospermia / leukocytospermia condition. The vaccine construct is deprived of non-self-peptides and peptides involved in spermatogenesis process. Sperm antigens with sperm functions have been targeted via bacterial peptides thus fertility in terms of spermatogenesis and steroidogenesis remains unaffected.
