| Metabolite set Enrichent Analysis (MSEA) was implemented to test metabolic
pathways enrichment among tuberculous pleural effusion group, transudative
pleural effusion group and malignant pleural effusion group. MSEA indicated
that protein biosynthesis, pyruvate metabolism, different kinds of amino acid
metabolism, glucose-alanine cycle, insulin signaling, ureacycle, glycolysis, citric
acid cycle, betaine, starch, sphingolipid, propanoate, phospholipid, galactose,
pyrimidine, purine metabolism are significantly associated with these diseases |
