Figure 4: Addition of Phosphatidylcholine did not reverse cell death induced by CCTα siRNAs. A549 and H1299 cultured to 80% confluence were transfected with siRNA S and CCTα siRNA A, B and C (0–400 nM), preincubated with FuGENE 6 plus 100μM PC at room temperature. After treatment, cells were incubated at 37oC for 24 hr and processed for CTB assay as indicated above. Figure 4 represents percent reduction in fluorescence intensity for A549 and H1299 cells, respectively, relative to untreated cells. Significant differences (p < 0.01) were seen in the reduction of CCTα-siRNA + PC treated cells for both A549 (A) and H1299 (B) cells. No significant differences were observed between concentrations of siRNA S + PC treated cells.
