An additional mid-surgery sample (2-2.5 hrs) was also sent for analysis in the case of recipients. Lactate levels were measured only in the venous samples. Normal values for Yorkshire swine are provided in parentheses (A: Arterial; V: Venous) in the top row of Table 2A.
