Figure 1: The oxygen saturation of the study extremity as a function of time.This graph compares the reduced pressure Group II (blue) to the standard pressure Group I (red).The oxygen saturation of the extremity appeared to recover immediately after tourniquet cuff deflation.There was a decrease in oxygen saturation observed at about 5 minutes which recovered at about 13 minutes.This decrease in saturation occurred an average of 3 minutes earlier and was more pronounced in the standard inflation pressure group compared to the reduced pressure group, although it did not reach statistical significance.
