Chromatogram of crude Sample A prepared from methanolic extract of P.betle L. leaf, on analytical RP-HPLC in isocratic mode using acetonitrile and water (1:1) as mobile phase and C18 column as stationary phase, at a flow rate of 0.5 ml/min. Three major peaks were identified at 254 nm and their retention times were 5.25, 7.36 and 9.33 min respectively.
