Chromatogram of crude Sample B prepared from methanolic extract of P. betle L. leaf, on analytical RP-HPLC in isocratic mode using acetonitrile and water (1:1) as mobile phase and C18 column as stationary phase, at a flow rate of 0.5 ml/min. Only one peak was found at 254 nm and its retention time was 6.53 min.
