Dogs (n= 3-5) received intravenous bolus injection of either small size liposomes
(Lip 175,6.5 mg Sb/kg body weight), medium size liposomes (Lip 400, 4.2 mg
Sb/kg) or free drug (100 mg Sb/kg). After 24 h, organs were collected, weighed,
homogenized and submitted to digestion with nitric acid. Antimony was determined
by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy. *P<0.05, for comparison
between both liposome formulations (Mann- Whitney test). |
