Figure 1: Electrocardiogram revealed complete atrioventricular block and ST segment elevation of up to 4 mm in leads II, III, aVF, I, aVL, V5, and V6, suggestive of acute inferolateral myocardial infarction. Unfortunately, pacemaker stimulation was the responsible for the induction of ventricular fibrillation, as pacemaker stimuli fell in the vulnerable period.
