Based on data from the Tasken group (Pidoux et al., 2014 [50]), various 22 cellular types including T cells may have a Cx43/ZO-1/Ezrin/PKA supramolecular complex where ezrin targeted PKA by phosphorylation of Cx43 controls it’s opening and closing.
