The values in each group are represented as Means ± Standard deviation. Significant p values (p< 0.05) were detected between (٭) and (٭٭) since the second week’s values of the study and thereafter. Group I (control or nondiabetic fed on ordinary lab diet); Group II (non-diabetic fed on fatty diet); Group III (diabetic fed on ordinary lab diet); Group IV (diabetic fed on fatty diet); Day 0 = The first day after fat feeding following induction of diabetes by the injecting streptozotocin. Normal serum TC was < 5.17 mmol/l and normal TG was < 1.7 mmol/l.
