Table 1: Effect of treatment with bosentan (50 mg/kg/day) on urine volume, urinary albumin content, blood glucose level, mean non-invasive BP and creatinine clearance in both non-diabetic and diabetic albino rats compared to control groups. All results recorded are those obtained at the end of 12th week which is the duration of the present study. Treatment of diabetic rats with bosentan significantly (p<0.05) reduced albuminuria, improved creatinine clearance and lowered elevated mean BP compared to diabetic non-treated group.
