Figure 2: Flow cytometry analysis of cell cycle phase distribution in DU145 cells. Human prostate cancer DU145 cells were seeded into 6-well plate and incubated overnight, treated with 0, 20, 30 and 40 μM of altholactone for 24h (A). Thereafter, cells were washed, fixed, stained with propidium iodide, and analyzed by flow cytometry. Data are expressed as Mean ± SD of three individual experiments with similar results. Altholactone suppresses cell proliferation, causes accumulation of cells in G2/M phase (B). |
