Figure 3: Transformation of dopaminergic neurons from neural progenitor cells. From Day 36 to 50, dopaminergic neurons were formed from neural progenitor cells under the forced conditions (Figure 3a), and cells were outgrowing to form mature neural networks (Figure 3b). The cells were verified through staining of the neuronal marker tyrosine hydroxylase (Figure 3c). These neural cells presented significant different morphology when compared with the parallel cultured non-reprogrammed adult fibroblasts (Figure 3d). |
