(A) The mRNA expression levels of islet-1, GATA-4, nkx2.5, α-cardiac actin (α-CA), myosin light chain (MLC), cardiac troponin I and myosin heavy chain (MHC) analyzed by quantitative-polymerase chain reaction with TaqMan Probe®. After incubation with spermine for the indicated time, the cells showed upregulation of expression of the indicated cardiac lineage markers. The expression levels are relative to those at day 0.
