Figure 1: Schematic of the experimental layout of the coupled HPLC-FTIR technique. Chromatographic separations were performed by HPLC system using the Zorbax SB-Aq column. The mobile phase is then directed through a dedicated flow cell comprising a germanium ATR cell which was used for on-line FTIR detection.
