Table 1: Demographic and physiology details of study patients. The weight of patients in the BMI 25-34.9 group was significantly higher than in the BMI<25 group. Height was not significantly different between both groups. Patients in the BMI 25-34.9 group had significantly greater incidence of pre-existing diagnosis of hypertension than those in the BMI<25 group. No other significant statistical differences were observed between groups. Data are expressed as Mean ± SD or n(%) where appropriate (* p<0.05 compared to BMI<25).
