Figure 5 : Apoptosis generation by azurin synthesized from P. aeruginosa strains. (a)Azurin purified from all four P. aeruginosa strains were assayed for apoptosis against ZR-75-1 cancer cells. ZR-75-1 breast cancer cell line was treated with IC 50 value of azurin collected from each P. aeruginosa strains for 48 h and cell cycle analysis was performed. (b) The relative percentage of apoptosis of azurin derived from P. aeruginosa strains. Statistical significance was expressed by using student�s t test. P values (*- 0.05 and **- 0.01) were considered significant compared to control.
