Table 1: Clinical and histopathological characteristics of breast cancer samples. The identification of tumor tissue from the removed sample was based on the histopathological examination, and all types of breast cancer were included. Samples were selected based on tumor content (minimally 80% tumor), as determined by microscopic pathological analysis. A sample of normal tissue was collected from each patient whenever possible.
