Table 1: Effect of NGD16, DIM and Staurosporine (+ve control) on cell viability was determined on a panel of four different cancer cell lines viz: PC-3, MiaPaca-2, COLO- 205, DU-145, HUVECs and NIH 3T3 cells through MTT assay. The N-glycosylated NGD16 found to be 8-10 times more cytotoxic than its parent DIM molecule and its selectivity towards cancer cells. PC-3 and MiaPaca-2 cells were more sensitive to NGD16 with least IC50 values, i.e. 0.8 and 2.8 μM respectively; whereas for HUVECs the IC50 concentration of NGD16 was 2.5 μΜ.
