Photomicrographs of hematoxylin and eosin stained slides at low magnification (objective lens x4) shows well-circumscribed capsulated (2a) and ill-defined non-encapsulated (2b) tumour nodules in the lung. Medium magnification (objective lens x10) shows the whorling pattern of the lesional cells (2c) with large areas of necrosis (*) in Figure 2d.
