     Kawasaki disease (KD) very frequently affects infants and young children under the age of 5 years. The disease is considered to be a kind of systemic vasculitis syndrome, and primarily invades the medium-sized muscular arteries and also including coronary arteries.

     The symptoms of the disease includes fever lasting at least 5 days, Red eyes, body rash, Swollen, red, cracked lips, tongue, red feet and hands. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck. The only reported Australian incidence (3.4/100 000 in 5 years). Mean annual incidence rate increased from 2.82 per 100 000 children aged <5 years (95% confidence interval, 1.93–3.99 i.e. 7.96%
