Biography

Adelaide Almeida did her Phd from University of Aveiro, Aveiro. She then started her career as a associate professor in University of Aveiro, Aveiro. She now have 276 publications and has bagged various AWARDS such as : Honorable mention of the 6ª Edição Green Project Awards Portugal 2013 in the category Investigation & Development,Award: Prize Clube Usuários SPME 2011, 2ª edition of the best work in SPME in 2011,Award: Prize IMAR Luiz Saldanha 2002 with the paper “Short-time responses of the natural planktonic bacterial community to the changing water properties in an estuarine environment.
