Biography
Dr. Alastair Summerlee is a President and Vice Chancellor in the University of Guelph, Guelph, Canada. He received his Ph. D in the Science Department from the University of Bristol, Bristol.
Research Interest
(1) hormonal and neural control of pregnancy, birth and lactation; (2) cardiovascular control and water balance during pregnancy; (3) hormonal control of testicular descent; (4) prostate cancer; (5) pathophysiology of relaxin; (6) micronutrient deficiency particularly in women and business opportunities to implement sustainable interventions to ameliorate the condition; and (7) HIV/AIDS and sexual practices among aboriginal populations
