Alessandra Pieroni received Ph.D. degree at “Tor Vergata” University of Rome, Italy. Currently, she is an assistant professor at “Guglielmo Marconi” University of Study, where she is professor of “performance and quality study of complex systems”. She was involved in FIRB project on “Software frameworks and technologies for distributed simulation”, and in the FIRB project on “Performance evaluation of complex systems” at the University of Rome TorVergata. She is reviewer of Performance Evaluation journal (Elsevier). She is author of several articles published in international journals and conference proceedings in the following research area: performance modeling of complex ICT systems and parallel and distributed simulation.
